At Lakeland Golf Group of Companies. we understand the importance of privacy to the individual. We know that earning the trust of our clients and employees is a permanent and ongoing endeavor. With the growth of electronic media it is necessary to take further steps in protecting the privacy of the individual. We fully support the new Canadian legislation, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, in its role to protect the privacy of the individual. Our role in protecting an individual’s privacy does not stop with this Act. We are continually looking for additional ways to ensure that the personal information we hold is secure and used in a responsible and respectful manner.

As such, we have appointed a manager responsible for personal information whose role is to make sure that the personal information entrusted with us is secure and will not be used for purposes other than what is necessary to offer the service our clients deserve.

We collect personal information (such as your name, address, phone number and e-mail address) in order to set up an account (multiple user passes, rentals, tee time reservations) to maintain a satisfactory relationship and to provide you with ongoing service. For example, to identify who you are for account privileges such as early tee reservations and to notify you of promotional events/ activities at our facilities.

If you sign up to our on-line tee reservations, we will store your e-mail address, password and site personalization details in our database. None of this information will ever be shared with anyone else.

We or another company acting with our authority may contact you to conduct surveys to determine your preferences in order to better serve you and provide you with the golfing needs and experiences that you may wish to receive. In addition, if you enter in a contest or participate in a promotion, we collect personal information to administer the promotion or contest. On occasion, we undertake contests or promotions with third parties or sponsors to assist us in administering these promotions or contest. In these cases, we will not share your personal information with any of these parties without your consent.

We will be forced to cooperate with requests for information received from authorized Canadian Law enforcement agencies, and that any such cooperation will be subject to the appropriate protocols as stipulated by Canadian law.
